The Face Behind Scrapbooking Oklahoma, Beverly Atteberry

While Scrapbooking Oklahoma was founded in 2017, my love for crafting started many, many years before that.

I’ve always been the crafty friend who could whip out a new craft at the snap of your fingers. From crocheting, quilting, and even Swedish embroidery, I’ve always been drawn to all things creative.

Knowing that I was always excited to try something new, my friend Marna asked me to try scrapbooking with her. My first thought was, “There’s NO WAY I could possibly fit another hobby into my sewing/crocheting/destruction area.”

I tried to remain strong, but even after I kept trying to turn her down, Marna was insistent that this would become our thing together.

She was right.

That was 2003…

…And since then, my passion for crafting has well evolved past creating scrapbooks.

Being a Creative Memories consultant, Forever ambassador, and now hosting my own scrapbooking crops, my passion now lies in helping others unlock their creativity and preserve their memories, while gaining lifelong friendships.

Because crops aren’t just for scrapbookers. They’re for anybody looking for the time and space to work on their craft whether it be quilting, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint, etc.

I’m a firm believer that if you can think it, you can craft it.

Through Scrapbooking Oklahoma, I’m excited to pay forward the incredible experiences I’ve been able to share with the best community of crafters.

With crafting on the rise, I’m passionate about introducing newcomers to the world of scrapbooking, guiding them through classes, advocating for their memory preservation, and providing them with a welcoming space where everyone can feel at home while exploring their creativity.

‘Cause scrapbooking isn’t just about pretty stencils on a page. It’s about preserving your life’s precious memories in a way that showcases your love, while unleashing your creative side.
